One medication known as a diuretic (water pill) is Aldactone Tablet. It is mostly used to treat excessive blood pressure and heart failure. It lessens the edoema (swelling) brought on by certain other illnesses. This medication is also used to treat hypokalemia, or low potassium levels in the body.
